Ziggy has had such a great time these past few days. The truck is back on the road, so that means more trips to the lakes and even downtown for a walk around Calhoun/Isles/Uptown.
Jane seems to like her walks with Ziggy and I'm certainly smiling regularly. Not a bad week of late summer in Minneapolis at all.
The hour before sunrise is magical. The first half was too dark for the iPhone but more subtle and impressive than the half shown here.
I got to Chinatown well after the crowds subsided. This place is incredible - I could spend several days photographing the scenes and especially the great people.
Although the street signs are in Chinese an English, this area has many Asian cultures represented despite the dominant Chinese presence.

I am killing time between my pre-dawn ride to the airport and a 3pm departure for Lihue, Kawaii. These pictures are from the government center of Honolulu. A statue of the Hawaiian King Kamehameha I and the Iolani palace. Odd thinking about my country annexing a kingdom and making it a state.
